Happy 50th Birthday Mark Brown

Mark joined the team in 1990 as an apprentice. After completing his apprenticeship, Mark joined the team full time as a Welder Fabricator. A talented fabricator, Mark specialised in fabricating structural steel. After honing his craft for years, Mark was ready for a new challenge taking on the role of General Manager in 2016. Mark is now responsible for running of the main day-to-day business activities and in ensuring that clients’ requirements are all met.

While there are many career highlights, Mark is our Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC) which is a requirement for UKCA Marking. Mark also holds a SSSTS certificate and is one of our Mental Health First Aiders. 

Having worked with us 34 years, Mark has been here for all the big changes; the extension to the original workshop, the change in Managing Director from second generation Hugh Jenkins to third generation Jonny Jenkins, the introduction of new technologies including the CNC Plasma, the re-brand from John Jenkins and Son to Jenkins Fabrication, and most recently our acquisition of Jenkins Logistics. He really has seen it all!

Nothing stands still for long in this industry, but Mark has been a steady constant  and pillar of support for our business. Mark, you are a pleasure to work with and you are hugely respected across the full team for all your technical skills and knowledge.
